Booked is a novel about a kid who is addicted to soccer. It talks about challenges that you and me face to today, and have something we can relate to. It is an amazing book for a middle schooler and would be very good to read.

There is a Above world and a Below world. Rio and her sister, Bay, live in the below world with their mother. Suddenly their mother dies and Bay decides to go to the Above world. Rio is not allowed to go with. Rio is left alone with her aunt. Rio doesn't know her aunt very well because she is a siren. A siren is a blessing from the Above. Rio must find a way to get out of Atlantia and go to the Above with the help of her aunt.

Eragon ventures through the land of Algaesia to defeat the evil king Galbatorix. The king is much too powerful, so he travels to the Vault of Souls where his power is enhanced. Eragon and his army, the Varden, travel to the city to confront Galbatorix once and for all. He is then defeated and his kingdom is overthrown.
